Why did you apply to be on this new series of Big Brother?
I applied mainly for the cash prize – that’s the big motivator! Of course, the experience will be amazing too, but winning that kind of money would be life-changing. You’ve got to be in it to win it.

What do you think you’ll bring to the House?
I’m very bubbly and can get along with anyone. I’m also quite a good cook – not gourmet-level, but I can make sure everyone’s fed! Since I work as a cleaner, I’ll definitely help keep the house tidy. I’m also really competitive and love games, so I think I’ll be great in the tasks.

What are you looking forward to the most about being a Housemate?
The tasks, 100%. They look like so much fun, and I can’t wait to throw myself into them and really get involved.

Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?
Not really – you can’t fake things in Big Brother because the public sees everything. If you try to be someone you’re not, it’ll show. My plan is to just be myself and hope that people like the real me.

What are you most likely to get nominated for?
Probably for being loud. I think I’m fine to live with, but I can be a bit noisy. I also speak my mind – if something bothers me, I’ll say it. Some people might take that as rude, but I just like to get things off my chest.

Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most.
That I’ve been saving up for a house deposit since I was 11 years old! It’s been slow progress, but I’m still at it.

What would you do with the money if you won?
I’d finally buy a house – ideally in Bristol, but maybe in Newport since Bristol is so expensive.
