Veronika Slowikowska is a Canadian actress and comedian. She first became known for her online sketch comedy and for playing Shanice in the TV series What We Do in the Shadows (2019–2020). She later acted in the comedy-drama film I Like Movies (2022) and the romantic comedy EXmas (2023). Veronika Slowikowska was born on October 29, 1995 (age 30 years, as of 2025) in Barrie, Ontario. She studied at St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School and graduated from Randolph College for the Performing Arts in 2015. In 2020, she also finished the Actor’s Conservatory program at the Canadian Film Centre.

Veronika Slowikowska started her comedy career with the Toronto musical comedy group My Chemical Bromance. She played Shanice in the first two seasons of What We Do in the Shadows.

In 2020, she released her first song, “So Many Lies,” to promote the upcoming Heartland series Becoming Alex. Her second song, “Homesick,” came out in 2021.

In 2022, she starred as Greta Hansen in the CBC comedy series Homeschooled and played Amber Whitelaw in the OutTV horror comedy EZRA.

In 2023, she started a podcast called nevermind. with co-host Kyle Chase and also acted in the Amazon Freevee Christmas movie EXmas.

In 2024, she starred as Davey in Davey & Jonesie’s Locker, a show co-produced by Amazon Prime Video and Hulu.

On September 2, 2025, it was announced that she would join season 51 of Saturday Night Live as a featured player.
