Why did you apply to be on this new series of Big Brother?
It’s crazy — I’ve watched Big Brother since I was a kid. I’m absolutely obsessed with game shows and TV in general. I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I’ve been quite ill over the last few years, but now that I’m finally feeling better, I decided it was time to do something fun and different.
What do you think you’ll bring to the House?
Definitely cooking — I’ll be in the kitchen a lot! I’ve also got a lot of chaotic energy, that’s just who I am. Plus, I love tasks, quizzes, and challenges, so I think I’ll be a real task master in the House.
What are you looking forward to the most about being a Housemate?
Honestly? Resting and not working! But especially the tasks — ever since I was about nine or ten watching the show, the tasks have always been my favourite part.
Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?
It sounds cheesy, but just being myself. That’s really it — no big plan, just authenticity.
What are you most likely to get nominated for?
Probably for snoring or talking too much — or even talking to myself! I’m constantly chatting, even when no one’s around, which might annoy a few people.
Tell us one thing about yourself you think will surprise people the most.
I’m obsessed with the Spice Girls — and I actually met Mel C once, which was a total dream come true!
What would you do with the money if you won?
I’d buy something ridiculous for my cat, because why not? I’d take my nieces and nephews on holiday, donate some money to charity (I have Crohn’s colitis), and then finally take myself on a long, relaxing trip abroad — I’ve been working since I was 16, so I’ve earned it!
