Akash Sabu was born in Trivandrum, India. He began his early education at The School of the Good Shepherd, Trivandrum, where he studied from Class 5 to Class 10, graduating in 2012 (IX B) along with his classmate Jiny James. He later continued his higher secondary education at St. Thomas Central School, completing Class 11E and 12E in 2014, and the Class of 2015. After his schooling, he pursued higher studies at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media from 2015 to 2019.

He began his professional journey with creative pursuits, working at Zer-0 Gravity from 2012 to 2015, while also engaging in break dancing during the same period. To gain industry experience, he interned at Stark Communications in Trivandrum from June to July 2017, followed by an internship at McCann Worldgroup in Bangalore starting in December 2016. Building on his skills in communication and marketing, he went on to establish his career as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Zomato, a role he has been holding since September 17, 2018, in Trivandrum, India.

In 2025, he entered the “Bigg Boss Malayalam season 7” house as a Wildcard contestant.
