In May 2023, Polish sports journalist and YouTuber Krzysztof Stanowski released a video on his YouTube channel, Sports Channel, criticizing Natalia Janoszek’s career. He claimed that her fame in Polish show business came mainly from reporters who believed her own statements and presented her as a star without proper verification. He also suggested that many of her achievements in India were exaggerated or even untrue, and that she had benefited from this image with the help of media outlets.
In June 2023, Natalia announced that she would file a lawsuit against Stanowski to protect her personal rights. The journalist responded by saying he was ready to repeat his accusations in court. On June 13, 2023, the District Court in Warsaw temporarily banned Stanowski and the Sports Channel from publishing claims that Janoszek had fabricated her career or misled her audience.
However, on July 28, 2023, Stanowski released another long video — almost three hours — again presenting his accusations and sharing materials from his own journalistic investigation. During this time, several public figures, including Ewa Minge, Edward Miszczak, Dawid Woliński, and Maja Staśko, openly defended Natalia.
Finally, in November 2024, the Court of Appeal in Warsaw decided that the earlier ban on publishing content against Janoszek was issued without proper grounds. Stanowski called this ruling a Pyrrhic victory because, although he won the case, he had already paid around 20,000 PLN in penalties for breaking the earlier ban.
