He had dreamed of being an actor since childhood, in 2004, after completing his engineering studies, he came to Mumbai, where he started acting but could not find any work, after which he started doing marketing job in Mumbai. The turning point in his life came when he got a chance to write the script of Shah Rukh Khan’s awards show. After which he never looked back in his life.
In 2011, Siddharth Dey worked as a cinematographer in the Bengali movie “Bidehir Khonje Rabindranath”.
In 2017, he worked as a cinematographer in the short film “Cerulean”.
